DIY Wooden Animals Toys

With the Christmas getting closer and closer I wanted to get Mae some of those adorable wooden animals.  They are the cutest thing ever, but they are also a bit pricey! The good news is that they are so easy and cheap to make! Since Mae is obsessed with animals it was the perfect gift for her!       Before you get started your going to have to figure out what type of wood you would like to use. Play Makeup

I just love when I walk into the bathroom and there is colored powder everywhere, black gunk smeared and a little girl covered in colored dust. Mae has hit the age where she likes to copy everything I do! SO CUTE and so annoying at the same time! She is very curious about what Gabe and I do and she want to do it too. Especially when it comes to mommy and her makeup. You would think I would have learned but if I leave anything out on the sink by accident Mae will find it and will cover herself...

Kids Stroller Upcycle

While unpacking the house they came across Mae’s old stroller and she was obsessed she pushed it all around the house everywhere she could go, but it was very difficult considering how short she is and how tall it was. Kitty Rag Doll

When I was on anthropology's website the other day I saw the cutest deer rag dolls for little girls!! They were absolutely adorable and I wanted to get one for Mae but I didn’t feel like paying the $30 price tag. When I went home I decided to try to make her one, but instead of a deer I wanted to go with the cat since it’s Mae’s favorite. This was a very fun project to make anyone with some sewing experience can make it. The hand embroidery is probably the most difficult part, but if you take your time...

Build Your Own Wooden Play Camera

Are you ready for a Photo Shoot! In high school my favorite class was photography, I had an amazing teacher and it made me look at photos in a different way. When I came across these wooden toy cameras online I was in LOVE! So cute! Mae, currently, is too young to play with one, but I still had to make it. I figure it will be a great nursery decoration. I thought I would share how I did it with you! This does take a few days to make (you have to let the glue dry completely)....
