SPOOKY TODDLER WITCH COSTUME

I am so excited for Halloween this year, it is fun every year, but Mae is turning 2 and will actually understand a little bit! Last year I made Mae a black cat costume (which was absolutely adorable!) This year we decided she would be a witch. Of course I couldn't buy one I HAD to make it. I love making costumes because you are able to customize them completely. For instance since we are no longer in Arizona, Halloween will be much cooler (at least for us) so I decided to go with a black velvet material which I...

Chai Tea Latte Recipe

We are finally getting settled in up here in Washington! Loving it so far, the weather is wonderful, there are trees everywhere and the wildlife, we have seen deer everyday. Exactly what we were hoping for! We don't even mind the rain since we were coming from AZ, (i'm sure that will change). The only negative about our cute little town is there is no coffee shop in walking distance for Mae and I.  Probably a blessing save a little extra money. The truth is I don't even like coffee....but I do LOVE chai tea lattes!  I found a few...

Pine Cone Wreath

Whenever I walk into a grocery store in the fall or winter season there is always a wonderful pumpkin spice, cinnamon smell! It is so wonderful, they always set up the scented pine cones at the entrance and there marketing technique worked on me I bought 2 bags! I used some in my Thanksgiving Day centerpiece and the rest I decided to try my hand at making a pine cone wreath! I figured I could hang it on the door so maybe my house will smell welcoming when you approach. This was a fun little project, but did not go...

FUN FALL MAGNETS

I try to make a Goodwill run once a month to see what goodies I can find. They offer 1/2 off everything every other Saturday so you can get a great deal! When I was there the other day I can across letter magnets in the kids section so I scooped them up! They were all miss matched and I'm not even sure I got every letter, but I figure for a $1 might as well. Plus I can always add to the collection if I ever see more. I decided to make them a little more cohesive by spray...

Halloween Mini Triangle Banner

When I was at Hobby Lobby (I'm there way too much!) I came across the cutest Halloween scrapbook paper so I grabbed it knowing I would find something to use it for. A while ago I shared how to make a reusable banner and it is the perfect decoration for the holidays. You can save it and use it over and over without worrying about it getting damaged when you pack it away each year. So I decided to make a mini version of this banner. Its a chic fun Halloween decoration that would go great in any ones home!...
