I used some in my Thanksgiving Day centerpiece and the rest I decided to try my hand at making a pine cone wreath! I figured I could hang it on the door so maybe my house will smell welcoming when you approach. This was a fun little project, but did not go...

FUN FALL MAGNETS

I try to make a Goodwill run once a month to see what goodies I can find. They offer 1/2 off everything every other Saturday so you can get a great deal! When I was there the other day I can across letter magnets in the kids section so I scooped them up! They were all miss matched and I'm not even sure I got every letter, but I figure for a $1 might as well. Plus I can always add to the collection if I ever see more. I decided to make them a little more cohesive by spray...

DIY Scrabble Coasters

When I came across an old scrabble game at the thrift store, for only $2, I scooped it up knowing I could use the letter tiles. Growing up Scrabble was and still is my favorite board game. I take a lot of enjoyment out of beating Gabe time and time again;). I decided to use the letters to make coasters, and in the coasters to hide words so it is a little word search. You don’t need much for this project its easy and quick; anyone can make them. They would even make for a perfect gift, you can personalize....

Fall Embroidery Hoop Wreath

It's that time of year again. The wonderful cooler weather, pumpkin spice everywhere, and football what could be better. Fall definitely is my favorite time of the year! I always get a little over excited and want to take all of our fall and Halloween decorations out at the end of August, but Gabe always tells me to wait till the end of September. Going through our decorations I realized we don't really have a fall wreath! I have been wanting to make an embroidery hoop wreath for a while now, they are fun and have a simplistic, modern style...
