After Christmas my husband is always a sweetheart and breaks down the Christmas tree so that I can keep the trunk then we usually burn the branches in our fire pit. There’s so many different fun projects you can do it the trunk of the tree and it’s a great way to recycle rather than just tossing it or burning it. Plus there’s not very many tree trunks you often come across in Arizona so you have to save every one you can. If you live somewhere with lots of tree or if you are doing some yard work...

diy Square Side Table

When we came back to Arizona from California we got rid of most of our furniture so when we moved into our home we need something to fill all the empty space. Rather than buying everything brand new I started to make the pieces, it's how my store Nidify got started. One of the first items I made was a set of bedside tables.  A few weeks ago a customer order a pair for their home and I thought it would be a fun diy project to share with you!!  I was able to build this little table in a...

Wood Slice Wall Art

Upcycle Old Christmas Tree When we were up in Oregon last Spring we stayed at an old wood shed that was converted into an Air BNB. It had the funnest decorations and the coolest accent wall! It was made of wood slices of all sizes. I have wanted to recreate it ever since then, but it really wouldn't really go in out home and there isn't a wall that it would work well so I decided to take it down in size a bit and just make a wall hanging.  I used the rest of my Christmas tree trunk for...

Pet Food Bowls

Do you have any pets? We have a few... two dogs, two cats, and a tortoise, they make up the rest of our family, and we LOVE them! Since our dogs our Great Danes we have always had them eating out of raised feeders. When Rosie was a puppy I made her the cutest feeder but she quickly out grew it and I had to make her a taller one, and then along came Bruce (our boy dane) and I had to make a feeder three bowls.  So I have had a lot of experience making pet feeders. My favorite...

Mini Adirondack Chair

Spring is here and I Love preparing our yard for the barbecues fire pits and days by the pool. A few years ago before Mae I made some Adirondack chairs for Gabe and I to lounge about in the yard.  Now that Mae is walking around everywhere I thought that a chair for her would be a nice addition. These are awesome plans they give you step by step directions making it very easy to build.  When I made Mae's chair I sized it down quite...
