Outdoor Fire Pit Tutorial
It’s the perfect time of the year in Arizona to have a fire pit. In the summer it’s way too hot and now it’s just cool enough to really enjoy one. A few months back we ended up getting 10 tons of rock to recover our backyard so we had to take down our old fire pit and decided, finally put it back up as fun Sunday night activity. Previous fire pit was a lot larger in circumference and not as tall we decided to do a scan you’re taller one this time just for a fun change. Luckily we already had everything that was needed to build it so it didn’t cost us anything however it would be a very inexpensive DIY. You can also customize it however you’d like make it taller make it shorter make it bigger make it skinnier whatever you need it for.
►55 Pavers (Home Depot they have 2 sizes we had the smaller sized ones)
1. Find a spot in the yard where you would like to place the fire pit and gather all materials
2.Rack the rocks away from the location you decided on and level the area
3. Decide the size you would like the fit pit and begin to assemble. If you like you can use the level on each layer to make sure it is straight (we just eyeballed it). For our fir pit we made it 5 layers tall with 11 pavers per layer
4. Rack the racks back and use the river rock to fill in the bottom of the pit
5. Pull up some chairs, grab some wood, and enjoy!
